About HARP
Brittany Harleston is the founder of HARP and the driving force behind its Deeply Human approach to care. Drawing from both personal experience and nearly a decade of professional work in behavioral health and recovery support, Brittany believes that meaningful change happens through authentic connection, trust, and individualized support.
Throughout her career, she has witnessed the profound impact that substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and life transitions can have on individuals and families. She has also seen that lasting change rarely emerges from extremes. Somewhere between enabling and "tough love" lies a balanced approach rooted in accountability, compassion, and respect. That space is where Brittany does her best work.
Brittany began her professional journey in behavioral health in 2017 at Cumberland Heights, one of Tennessee's most respected treatment centers. She later served as a counselor within a women's recovery residence before transitioning into leadership and program development, where she spent the next several years supporting individuals and families navigating recovery, mental health challenges, and complex life circumstances.
In addition to her direct work with clients, Brittany has served the broader recovery community through volunteer leadership with the Tennessee Alliance of Recovery Residences, helping support quality standards and certification efforts for recovery housing throughout the state.
Today, Brittany brings together advocacy, recovery support, case management, family coaching, and community navigation through HARP. Her greatest strength lies in identifying unmet needs, building meaningful relationships, and connecting individuals and families with the resources, providers, and support systems that help them move forward.
At the heart of HARP is a simple belief: people deserve care that is both professional and deeply human.
